Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmed, along with a delegation of senior NAB officials, visited the Islamabad Museum. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Federal Secretary, Mr. Asad Rehman Gilani, and Director General, Department of Archaeology & Museums (DoAM), Ms. Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat, received the distinguished guests. During the visit, the NAB Chairman toured the Islamabad Museum and the Digital Immersive Gallery, where he was briefed on the museum’s collections, preservation initiatives, and efforts to promote Pakistan’s rich archaeological and cultural heritage. Chairman NAB Lt. Gen. (R) Nazir Ahmed said that it was a pleasure to visit the Islamabad Museum and that he was deeply impressed by the efforts being made to preserve Pakistan’s national treasures. He further stated that NAB would seek to partner with the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture Division in advancing its vision of establishing Pakistan as a global archaeological hub. The NAB Chairman expressed his profound gratitude to Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi and his team for their hospitality and for hosting the NAB delegation. The visit underscored the importance of collective efforts among national institutions to safeguard, promote, and project Pakistan’s rich archaeological and cultural heritage at the national and international levels.
