Ms. Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat, Director General, Department of Archaeology & Museums (DoAM), Islamabad, visited the Archaeological Site and Museum of Banbhore, heritage aite on Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage, accompanied by Mr. Amanullah, Director PNCA, and Mr. Muhammad Ayub Jamali, Director General, PNCA. The visit provided an opportunity to explore the rich archaeological legacy of Banbhore and gain insight into the measures being undertaken for the conservation and protection of its historic remains. The delegation also acknowledged the significance of sustained institutional efforts in ensuring the long-term preservation of this remarkable heritage site. Ms. Syeda Tanzeela Sabahat appreciated the dedication of the Department of Antiquities and Archaeology, Government of Sindh, towards preserving Banbhore’s archaeological legacy and promoting the protection of Pakistan’s cultural heritage for future generations.
