Justice of the High Court of England and Wales, Mr. Martin Griffiths, visited the Islamabad Museum, accompanied by Mr. Aurangzeb Khan, Director, Supreme Court Museum. During the visit, Justice Griffiths was briefed by Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Deputy Director, Department of Archaeology & Museums (DoAM), on the museum’s archaeological collections, cultural heritage, and historical significance. Reflecting on his visit, Justice Martin Griffiths remarked: “A breathtaking display of human ingenuity and man-made beauty, linking us to our most remote origins and teaching us both what we have in common with our ancestors and what they may yet teach us.” The visit underscored the enduring power of cultural heritage to connect people across generations, societies, and borders, while highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting our shared human history.
