Type: Archaeological Site - Rock Shelter
Province: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
District: Swat
Period: Historic
Relative Chronology: 7th - 8th Century CE
Description: This is a rock shelter located on a terrace towards east-south-east of Saffar Kandao. This rock shelter is visibly carved out of a large boulder with several grooves or niche-like formations. In one of such grooves on the north can be seen two carved human figures turning their faces to the right. To the left, there is a tip of an arrow which certainly belongs to the figure of an archer which is no longer visible due to mutilation. To the right can be dimly seen a rider on the horseback, with his feet on the stirrups.
