Sado Mazo Rock Carvings

Description: These rock carvings are located in Nai Valley, scattered in 35-40 km area. It has 35 rock art specimens, found in caves, open area and boulders. They depict cut marks, hand prints, plants, humped bulls, horses, horsemen, Buddhist Stupas, etc. The inscription is also there, consists of Brahmi, Gupta Brahmi, and Kharosthi scripts. These rock carvings and inscriptions associated to multiple periods i.e., prehistoric to historic period.
