Sami Cemetery

Description: Between one and two km before reaching Sami by the road from Turbat and Shahrak, the barren stretches of the piedmont north of the rod is occupied by a huge cemetery of cairns. The rectangular cairns are oriented east-west, like those in Zangian. On the western edge of the cemetery there is a group of bigger cairns. A female anthropomorphic jug was found there. The site is associated with Zangian Period (2nd Century BCE - 2nd Century CE).
