Description: The oasis of Kalatuk is located 20 km west of Turbat, on the right bank of the Kech river. It has been possible to find the group of eleven badly damaged cairns visited by Stein in 1928 near the village of Kalatuk. A small ruined fortress stands in the middle of the village, on the upper terrace, is a 17th-18th century building. No distinctive pottery has been found in the vicinity. The site has several periods i.e., Protohistoric period (4th-3rd millennium BCE) and Late Islamic Period (17th-18th Century CE).
