The monastery proper measures 81 meters north-south and 78 meters east-west. The stupa complex proper measures 71 meters north-south and 60 meters east-west. The stupa is largely denuded of its facing stone and survives in a mound only but semi ashlar and semi diaper styles masonry can be seen at the surviving parts. This rectangular stupa measures around 25 meters x 22 ½ meters at the base. The height of the stupa is roughly 5 meters. The exposed image chapels or shrines of different sizes on north and south of the Stupa are in very bad state of preservation. Huge stone blocks have been used in construction of this stupa and some stones are as big as 1 ½ m x by 28 cm. There are two votive stupas close to the main stupa which are also in bad state of preservation.
The monastery of Badalpur located on the eastern side of the Main Stupa complex is quite huge consisting of forty cells and two gateways, while an additional monastery has also been exposed on the southern side of the main monastery, with an assembly hall, a kitchen, and a store. This additional monastery has twelve monks’ cells, each measuring 2.5 x 2.9 m. In the center of this additional monastery is a water tank measuring 5 x 5 m with a depth of 95 cm, while the size of the monastery is 10 x 10 m. The construction materials used in this monastery are the same as those of the main monastery and other buildings of the huge complex. All walls of this monastery have mud plaster internally and stucco plaster externally. Traces of some of it could still be observed in some of the monastery cells.
