Saraduk Damb

Description: The mound is located on northern side of Panjgoor-Nag Road on the outskirts of Panjgoor city. It measures 280 x 210 m with surviving height of up to 6 m. It is littered with potshards mostly red ware with medium texture, buff ware and grey ware. The red ware pottery is painted in black, mostly with geometrical designs and horizontal parallel bands. Chocolate and dark brownish slips have also been applied in some cases on rims. Incised wavy lines, net patterns, comb designs and grooves on body are also found. On the basis of pottery, the site has been assigned to a time frame of 2500 -2200 BCE.
