Description: The Gar Levy Fort is situated on un-metaled track between Paroam and Gar Village in Tehsil Proam, district Panjgoor. It was built during the British Raj in 1913. The palatial fort comprises of 15 rectangular shaped rooms and stores to keep the military arsenal to meet any challenge of hostility. It has traditional high fortification wall with maximum height of 12 m with slits on regular intervals for the safety of the troops in case of exchange of artillery fire. The entire fort has been raised with sun dried bricks and mud mortar. Mud lumps used in the construction of the fort wall is a conventional architecture of Baluchistan which had its origin at Killi Gul Muhammad, Damb Sadaat, Killi Ahmad Zai and in the historic period which keep the temperature both in winter and summer quite pleasant. The main entrance to the fort is on south with side gates on the eastern and the western walls.
