Zaipur Shikari

Description: The Zaipur Shikari is the only surviving stone pillar out of three of its kind that was built during the British colonial period. This tower, along with the other two, was used to support wooden grooves that served as water channels from Shanuter Nala to Zaipur - that is, from one hillside to the other. The stone pillar is constructed so as to have thirteen levels, in a tapering shape, each with a different length and breath. It is built with stones, with cribbage across the corners of the pillar. This pillar is located at a distance of five km from the Zaipur village.
