Totzhey Mosque

Description: This mosque is located in the heart of the Dumsum village settlement. At one point in its history, the surrounding settlement was once deserted by its inhabitants, and nobody attended the mosque for prayers, earning it the name Toztsay, meaning orphan in the Balti language. It is built with a cribbage and cator structure, using stone, timber, adobe and mud. It has a square-shaped plan, a low-height ceiling, and a narrow, three - sided verandah on its eastern, western and northern sides.
