Description: This mosque is situated in the Pharawa village (Gulshan-Kabir), on the left bank of the Saltoro River, 50 km from the town of Khaplu. A Khanqah (space designated for the religious practice of the Noorbukhshia Sufi Muslims) and a relatively recent Astana (sacred tomb) exist to its north. The major construction materials used in this building include stone, timber and concrete. The community has integrated the historic features of the old mosque into those of the new structure; although the main shell of the new structure was built with concrete have a square plan and a verandah on all four sides. This verandah is decorated with wooden latticework and arches.
