Khanqah e Moallah Thagas

Description: This Khanqah is located in the Thagas village, forty km away from the main town of Khaplu. The site is surrounded by historic monuments like the Astana of Mir Arif and Mir Ishaq, which lie to its south. This Khanqah has been constructed on a monumental scale, using timber, stone, and mud. It consists of a main hall, with an entrance verandah on its eastern side. Meditation rooms line the northern and southern sides of the main hall, which also includes huge original wooden posts and capitals. Women use the upper level of these chambers for prayers.
