Description: Bireno Pul, named after Ahmad Ali Bireno (known as Bireno), is one of the most splendid suspension bridges in the region. Hailing from Hunza, Bireno took it upon himself to build the bridge in the early sixties, despite having no formal engineering education. It now connects Danyor to Konadas across the Hunza River. Prior to the construction of the Pulthe Hunza River was crossed using a goatskin raft, locally known as a Jaalo.
