Description: Thorsi Khar is situated on top of a hill, now days only the mosque is existed along with the remains of the ruined fort. It is said that Raja Saleem Alday the 25th Yabgo Raja had built the original fortification of the Yabgo family, a large fort complex at Thorsi Khar during 15th century. This fortress was built for defensive purposes. The Thorsi Khar is easily reached through a village of Ghabochung. It is a unique cultural heritage and a tourist resort. Bahram Cho, another Yabgo Raja, ruled from 1494-1550 CE. During his period, Sultan Said Khan a ruler of Kashghar, Chinese Turkistan invaded Baltistan. There is best relation between Bahram Cho with Sultan Said Khan and Gyalfo of Ladakh.
