Jamaat (Mosque) Complex and Chilla Khna of Syed Shaikh Ahmed

Description: This complex is situated on south of the G.T. Road in Attock Khurd in a narrow valley on the south of the tomb of Sakhi Sultan. This complex is partially cut out of conjure stone rock. One rectangular room is exactly below the rock-cut ceiling with a stepped passage from south and a verandah in front also under the rock. The rock has been plastered and partially completed with bricks. It has three arched openings with entrance through the middle arched way. The flanking arched ways are half-way blocked with slate stone as the remnants suggest. The pillars and walls erected in bricks are plastered with lime. The verandah has two side windows. The verandah is 7.6 m long (EW) and 5.65 m wide. The room measuring 2.70 x 3.52 m also had a window on the east made through the rock. The platform is constructed over the rock and has a square tank in the middle measuring 1.50 x 1.50 m with a depth of 0.80 m, while the compound measures 9.70 x 3.70 m.
