Lamsa Rock Carvings Shiger

Description: The carvings are found along the old road to Shiger in the east of Lamsa Mohallah, Shiger. Here, we found three stones with 35 carvings. At stone no 1 three Buddha`s figures in Tibetan style are carved. Stone no two bearing 28 ibexes, while stone no 3 has four ibexes. Stone No. 1 the Buddhas statues are already documented by the German Archaeological Mission in Northern Pakistan. This site belongs to multiple periods.
