Barla Ghumur Mound-I

Description: An archaeological site, situated 3 km north of village Jaba on the left bank of river Indus in the foots of hills. A kacha path leads to the site from Dabilnur village near Police Chowki. There are five mounds at the site in the radius of 500 m. Surface of the mound is badly disturbed and covered with fallen stones and potshards. Illegal diggers have extensively searched the site and damaged the structures. The exposed walls of a monastery and stupas built in fine diaper masonry.
