Wah Mughal Mosque

Description: This mosque was built during the Mughal period at the western tip of the Mughal Garden Wah, close to the Khattar-Hayat Marhi. Clear water still flows beneath this beautiful Mughal styled mosque, situated in the center of a Fruit garden. Its exact date of construction is not known. The Hayat family has made extension to this mosque. It is a miniature of the Badshahi mosque Lahore. There are paintings, designs and patterns all over the inner walls and roof of this beautiful mosque. The possibility of this mosque having been built on the command of Emperor Aurangzeb during his stay at the Wah Garden cannot be excluded.
