Site 2 near lake Khurandah Dhand

Description: The site is located on the low-lying sand dune. Scattered cultural material was recorded on the top surface of sand dune which does not exceed eight m height from surrounding plains. It has the Nara valley on east and north directions while the sand dunes continue in west and south directions. The cultural material was present in clusters suggesting separate huts. The viscosity of objects presents on the surface indicated that nomads occupied this spot frequently throughout various periods. From this site, pottery in various shapes, sizes, and decoration, chert flakes and glass pieces ere documented. The cultural material shows similarities with various periods for example Hakra, Indus and Historic periods.
