Description: The existing fort, now in an advanced stage of ruins, was reportedly repaired by one Karam Khan Arbani, son of Qaim Khan, the founder of Qaimpur town in 1752 CE, the fort shows a square plan with bastions at the corners, among which those on the northern side are octagonal. In the northeastern corner stand the remains of a three storeyed palace with fallen roof but still retaining something of original woodwork and recessed niches.
