Kandera Fort

Description: It is a mud brick fort with burnt brick facing on both sides. It was built by one Fazal Khan, son of Bhakhar Khan Pirjani in 1754 CE, and demolished by Muhammad Bahawal Khan II in 1805 CE. At present, only the mud brick core of the fort survives, it is square in plan, measuring 49 m on each side excluding the corner bastions, each 6m in dia. The size of the burnt brick is 3m x 2m x 0m inches, two bastions on the northeast and southeast survive to a maximum height of 6 m.
