Jamgarh Fort

Description: A beautiful burnt brick fort standing in the desert with much of its original appearance, built in 1788 CE by Jam Khan Marufani. It is square in plan, measuring 35 m on each side. Its walls survive to the height of 9 m and are strengthened by circular bastions at the corner. Originally, a mud rampart was built around the fort of which merely an outline of mud on the ground is visible now.
