Description: One of the most impressive architecturally and also the best preserved fort, not much of its early history is known until the fort was captured by the first Nawab of Bahawalpur, Sadiq Muhammad Khan in 1733 CE. Derawar fort is reported to have had forty towers (bastions), originally, a well inside and a large tank outside. It is a square fort, measuring 205m across with a gate on its southern side. Most of the bastions are still intact.
