Farid Dero Jo Daro

Description: Archaeological mound of Fari dero is situated in deh Fari dero, taluka Moro district Naushero Feroz. In the east of mound Purano Jatoi village and in south of mound Police Station while in west of mound Indus River. Site is located on the edge of Bachha Bund. Moro city is about 10 km in east of mound. Mound exits in agricultural land of Rais Ghulam Mujtabo Jatoi. At present mound is approximately 2.5 m high from the surface, only a small portion of archeological mound is remaining now. Only few shards of glaze pottery, painted pottery, embossed pattern, and incised pottery collected from surface and probably associated to Early Islamic period.
