Haji Musa Rajpar Mosque

Description: This mosque is situated in the Haji Musa Rajpar village. It is 2 km south of Shahija and about 200 m in west of Naushera Feroz Padidan road and about 3 in the south of Naushero Feroz city. This mosque is built with burnt bricks. It has three entrances from eastern sides for the courtyard and one entrance to the prayer hall. The domes survive with finial and octagonal drums. It measures 4.70m E-W x 7.90m NS and its maximum height is 9 m. Burnt bricks, lime mortar, plaster and mud mortar are used in the construction. Bricks size is 30 x 15 x 7cm. Facade has three entrances for the mosque and to minarets type small turrets on the top. Mosque has 3 domes over the courtyard and one large dome over the prayer hall. The facade has series of squire and arched panels. The mosque has a row of battlements on the western, northern and southern sides. There is a newly built terrace. There are stairs for the roof on the right side of the mosque. The roof of the courtyard has corbelled and blind arches all sides. There is a calligraphic round plate in the center of the dome. The drum of the dome has 4 squinch arches and 4 blind arches. There are four large blind arches and niches in the prayer hall. The prayer hall has small entrance given into large blind arch.
