Tomb in Rehman Khan Village

Description: Tomb is located in deh Murad Ali, taluka Garhi Khairo, district Jacobabad. Rehan Khan Jamali village is in the north, Garhi Khairo city is about 8 km in the northwest, and Junejo Railway Station is about 3 km in south. Entrance is on southern side in arch shape door, above the door is a rectangular panel, above it, there is an arch with crown. Both sides of the door have three rectangular panels having blind arches. Eastern, western and northern side has five blind arches in three rows. There is a series of battlement on top of walls. Tomb has octagonal drum; dome is round with broken finial and lotus flower. Burnt bricks, mud mortar; lime plaster and cheroli are the construction materials. Tomb is square in plan and decorated with rectangular panels, blind arches, crown finial, lotus flower from outside, while inside, it is decorated with blind arches, color paintings and squinch arches. Internally, eastern wall has one large size arch and two small arches on each wall. Dome rests on octagonal drum, which has 16 blind arches and four squinch arches in corners. There are different scenes of animals, painted with multicolor on wall. Tomb is existing in miserable condition and probably belongs to Kalhora period of Sindh.
