Mound of Ali Nawaz Jalbani

Description: This archaeological mound is situated in village Ali Nawaz Jalbani, deh Jalbani, taluka Garhi Khairo, and district Jacobabad. Other places, which are located in the surrounding of the mound, are Miro Khan, Ghari Khairo road is on the edge of site on southern side, and Garhi Khairo city is about 7 km in its south. This site is divided into different small mounds, pottery is scattered on the surface of mound. This site is extended over 125 m from east to west and in breath is 95 m from north to south and its height is 6 m approximately. The pottery of this site is found in dull red ware with medium and thin in texture and all are in plain. Pottery mostly found in variation of body shards, plates, dish with base, rim and lid, one light grooved body shards and vitrified body shards are also found.
