Murad Bhit/Murad Wali Bhit

Description: This archeological mound is located in the Ghotki District, taluka Deharki, deh Sucharo. Noohindri Dara is about 4 km in its west, Muhammad Shah Ji Bhit is about 1 12 km in its east, while Lune Waro Daro is about 4 km in its south. The prehistoric mound is situated in the desert. It is spread over a large area, modern graveyard is present over the center of the mound. Pottery is scattered on the surface of site. This site is extended over 700 m from east to west and in breath is 500 m from north to south, its height is 15 m approximately. The pottery of this site is found in dull red ware with medium in texture. Plain incised and monochrome painted body shards are visible on the surface. Few grey ware shards are also observed. In other finds, complete small T/C bead and very small T/C ball are also included. The site is probably associated to Neolithic period.
