Kakuta Mud House

Description: The site is located near Dhara Bazar about 40 km south of Hajira and approached by road following Mandol to Dhara Bazar. The house is built on the raised mud platform, at the height of 1 to 2 m. It is double story building and presently in use by residents. The house is built in rubble stone masonry with mud mortar and mud plaster on interior and exterior. The house is facing towards north; the lower story is used to sheltering cattle, while the upper story is used for residential purposes.
