Description: An archaeological site, associated with early Muslim to Sultanate period in ruined condition. The remains covered an area of about 40,000 sq.m and maximum height was 3 m above surrounding level. The surface pottery was largely of dull red and light red in colour and included rim fragments of water pitchers, lids, bowls and cooking pots. In the painted pottery, painting executed in black over a red wash consisted of linear, floral and geometrical pattern.
