Tomb of Shah Jillani Sharif

Description: This tomb lies in the Sui Sharif village. The Tahir Bhatti village is at few meters distance in the south. The Tig Shah village is at 1 km distance in the north. The Muhammad Pur village lies at 2 km distance in the west. This tomb is located at 12 km distance in the south west corner of Ubaro city. The tomb has square plan, it has four major minarets on all four sides. The tomb has a big dome. The dome has octagonal drum with eight minarets and eight ventilators. The tomb has two entrances from eastern and northern side. Tomb is existing in good condition. It measures 9 x 9 x 17 m. It is made of burnt bricks, cement mortar and plaster is used in the renovation. The tomb has massive thick walls all four sides. There is a courtyard with roof around all four sides to the tomb. The tomb has glazed tiles work on and inside the tomb, beautiful mirror decorative work has also been done. There are total eight graves inside the tomb. There is a Mehrab towards the western side. The monument is probably associated to Kalhoro period of Sindh.
