Ruined Mosque (Village Sargana)

Description: The ancient mosque situated in village Sargana, Tehsil Mailsi was built during the reign of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir (1658-1707). It lies in the middle of the modern graveyard. It is a three domed arched mosque, the central dome of which is bigger than the two domes on either side of it. The rectangular shaped prayer chamber is 17.3 m long, 7.6 m wide and its height is 5.4 m. The front facade of the mosque is decorated with rectangular panels having glazed tiles in green colour, some Persian inscriptions are laid in a few panels.
