Description: The site lies about 4 km south-west of Tehsil Jampur, in the district of D.G. Khan. It consists of two mounds roughly 30-46 m, the large one marks the site of the city and the smaller has been identified as a fort, constructed in mud brick masonry. At certain places, complete plan of the room has been traceable. The smaller mound is rectangular in shape, in the north of the city site is 4.5-6 m high above the cultivated field. The massive mud bricks around it undoubtedly marked the site a kind of defensive fort, bastions have been provided at different intervals. Pottery of different shapes and types (plain and painted), showing floral motifs have been reported.
