Ban Faqiran Mosque

Description: The mosque is square in plan, measuring 4.27m x 4.27m. It is built of dressed lime stone blocks laid in lime mortar. Walls are 0.60 m thick. Access to the chamber is provided through eastern side, which is 1.07m wide, an enclave measuring 0.3048 sq. m for lamp is provided in the northern wall. The prayer chamber has a shallow mihrab of 1.83x0.60m in the western wall. The squinches and the arch of the mihrab was constructed with burnt bricks, measuring 2.44x1.83x0.609m.
