Chaper Mound-II

Description: An archaeological site in ruined condition, measuring 200x180x24m, situated on a high natural mound of clay. It is almost destroyed by illegal diggers as a result few portions of walls are exposed, which depicts diaper masonry of Kushan period and seems to be the wall of monastery. Another circular wall, badly disturbed is possibly an inner core of a stupa. Presently, the mound is covered with wild growth. Potshards of red ware pottery have been collected from the surface.
