Harem of Talpur Mirs

Description: This simple but impressive building inside the Pucca Fort of Talpur period, was built in 1784 during the reign of Mir Fateh Ali Talpur, it consists of a rectangular room with verandah facing south. The room is situated on the first floor and its interior is adorned with floral, geometrical fresco and life scenes, also known as Painted Chamber. The ceiling consists of wooden girders and lacquer work. The exterior of the chamber and the platform bear traces of fresco treatment.
