Buchucher Mound

Description: An archaeological site measuring 190m east-west and 110m north-south with a height of 4m, roughly circular in shape, covering approximately an area of 20,000 sq.m. Northern part of the site is occupied by a modern Muslim graveyard. A modern mud-brick house has been built on its north-eastern corner. Thick textured pottery belongs to large size jars, pitchers, cooking pots, most of them having out curved rim, few fragments having incised decorations, group of black bands, decoration of oblique lines and formation of horizontal lines have been reported.
