Description: Makli necropolis is dating back to 14th century. The monuments and mausoleums of Makli are built from high quality stone, bricks and glazed tiles representing different local dynasties of Sindh. Here the tombs of famous saints and local rulers including Jam Nizamuddin II portraying Hindu, Mughal and Islamic architecture. It has witnessed the successive rise and fall of various ruling dynasties during the four hundred years of its chequered history during the Samma Rajputs (1340-1520 CE), the Arghuns (1520 to 1555 C), the Tarkhan (1555-1592 CE) and the Mughal emperors of Delhi (1591-1739 CE).
