Description: It is a great heap of ruins locally known as Kahujodaro. During excavations by Cousen in 1909 some ornamental bricks and two remarkable figures discovered were pronounced that of Sikhi, the second Buddha and dated to the first half of the sixth century CE. According to H. Cousen, towards the north end of the ruined stump is sundried bricks of an old stupa, which must be the site of monastic establishment. The stump of the stupa is a great solid mass of sun-dried bricks laid in mud lying upon the ground. It was found in a fragment made of burnt clay in one piece with a large hole in the center for the staff of the umbrella. The site is associated to Rai Dynasty of Sindh (5th-6th Century CE).
