Description: The early history of the Thul is shrouded in obscurity. It is said that a king who had no son wanted to preserve his name was advised by his council of Ministers to erect this tower. This is a solid cylindrical structure like a Buddhist stupa tapering at top. It is constructed with a brick casing about 18 m high standing over a square base of 20 m on each side. This could be a Buddhist stupa constructed during the Rai dynasty of Sindh (5th-6th centuries CE).
