Description: A historic mosque is located in Bazar-e-Kalan, Peshawar and was built in 1197 AH (1782 CE), by Ganj Ali Khan, who served as a Mansabdar under Shah Jehan and his son Aurangzeb. However, the Hijri year inscribed on the face of the mosque is equivalent to 1782-83 CE, clearly suggests that it was built in the second half of 18th century during Mughal period.
