Description: Peshawar is a city of historic romance and its two thousand years story is full of old traditions and tales that are told and retold in the Kahve-Khana of the famous Qissa Khwani Bazaar, translated as Story-tellers Bazaar. This is the Piccadilly of Central Asia and the fame of the Qissa Khani or Story-Tellers Bazaar, known throughout the length of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afghanistan and far even beyond. According to Gopal Das, this open Bazaar was originally built by Avitabile. It is mentioned neither by Elphinstone nor by Mohan Lal, who have described the other bazaars.
