Description: Abdur Rahman Mohmand (1632-1715 was a renowned Afghan Sufi Dervish and poet of Peshawar. He died in 1715 CE, and his tomb is housed in a large domed shrine, on the southern outskirts of Peshawar (Ring Road Hazar Khwani). The site of his grave is a popular place for poets and mystics to collect to recite his popular poetry. Rahman Baba mausoleum was constructed by the Pakhto Tolena of Afghanistan in 1954. In the early 1950s, the Pakistan government built a complex around his shrine in the 1980s.
