Saqar Manri (Zari Village) Wari

Description: An archaeological site, in the form of a mound is located in Zari village. There are exposed structural remains at the site in ruined condition, indicating a Buddhist monastic establishment. The surviving structural remains include the base of a stupa and few monastic cells. These structures are built in a diaper masonry and constructed on a raised platform. Potshards are scattered all over the site. The findings suggest that these remains probably belong to Kushan period.
