Baba Khatawara Ashram

Description: The ashram was built in 17th century. The purpose of the ashram was to entertain three orphanages. It has a mandir and an assembly hall where the guru grants are kept. The wooden sandals of all gurus are also kept there. The Hindu orphans live there. They seek Hindu teaching and also worldly knowledge. There are only one entrance opens in old Gandhawa Bazar. The ashram is located in old bazar of Gandhawa. The ashram is rectangular in shape having a mandir and assembly hall and living rooms. The ashram was decorated with geometrical designs. It has the pictures of some gurus depicted on entrance of the mandir. The assembly hall is decorated with arched shaped designs having columns on each site.The roof of the ashram is decorated with geometrical designs.
