Description: The Shahi Jamia is located in Gandhawa main city. The mosque is rectangular shaped having three semi spherical domes with hexagonal drums. Two huge minars are also present. There is a courtyard. The mosque has three main huge and four small entrances from front side. Masjid was built during Nori Naseer Khan Period. This was the Jamia Masjid. The Masjid was beautifully built with brunt bricks and mud plaster. The walls of the Masjid are very thick about 1.5-2m. The main front wall has arched shaped designs. The drum of the dome has minarets. Each side of the drum has small windows for lighting the interior. The entrances are arched shaped. There is an arched shaped Mehrab. The mosque was tremendously designed with arched shaped entrances, hexagonal drums of semi spherical domes and huge minars.
