Description: Mian Naseer Muhammad Kalhoro/Garhi Graveyard lies about 18.9 km north-west of Thareri Jado Shaheed village. It can be accessed from Kakar on N-55, towards Thareri Jado Shaheed village and further via canal road to Mian Naseer Muhammad Kalhoro/Garhi Graveyard. The necropolis of Mian Naseer Muhammad Kalhoro, consists of seventy-one (71) standing structures, some have completely collapsed. Selected structures including few tombs, mosque, canopies and vaulted-roof structures have been recorded for mapped. The canopy I belongs to Mian Naseer Muhammad Kalhoro, it is enclosed within a compound wall. Inside the compound wall in the verandha is the grave of Araz Muhammad son of Mian Naseer Muhammad laid on the floor beside the canopy. The canopy of Mian Naseer Muhammad Khan Kalhoro is erected on a rectangular platform; the platform is carved with beautiful geometric and floral motifs in the shape of sun flower, rosette motifs and arch motifs. The balusters of the platform are constructed with yellow stones with various designs of perforated of stone work (jali). The canopy is octagonal in shape and is constructed with yellow stone with cheroli mortar. It has a small opening between the balusters on the southern site.The canopy is erected with the support of eight-pillars. All the pillars of the canopy are divided into three parts (base, shaft & capital) and lintel beams rest on the pillars. A wooden frame with glass is fixed within the pillars enclosing the grave (recent). The parapet has cornice and the conical dome rests on the low octagonal drum. The perimeter of the drum is adorned with denticulate decoration and lotus mouldings with finial on the top of the dome. The drum and dome are renovated with tiles. The interior drum is adorned with small squinches and recessed arch panels with carved rosette motifs and painted with fresco, which has faded only some traces are surviving.
