Local version is that Ahedi Faqir was a Panhwar by caste, no historic records are traceable, however, the tomb architecture resembles with Kalhora period architecture. The tomb is square in shape and constructed with burnt bricks. Cheroli has been used as mortar with lime plaster. An entrance to the tomb has been provided through tudor arch with modern iron door (later addition) to the southern side. The facade is flanked by two vertical arched panels, whereas three sides of the tomb are decorated with two horizontal arched panels and one rectangular panel, presently the painting on the exterior walls has faded. The dome rests on the low octagonal drum. The dome is crowned on top with inverted lotus and remains of a rod of the finial. There are four kiosks one in each corner. Few merlons have survived on the parapet wall and on the octagonal drum. Inside the tomb there are two graves laid down in single row repaired with cement. Mehrab is on the west which is painted with beautiful fresco designs as well as Quranic verses. The interior of the tomb is ornamented with beautiful naturalistic (floral and faunal) and geometrical motifs in fresco and there are some interesting murals depicting fruit images.
